The Story

The idea of the French School of San Antonio was born with Estelle De Oliveira and came to life when she partnered with Katia Edrenkina in 2017.

Estelle and Katia moved to San Antonio with their families a few years ago and struggled to find bilingual French-English education for their children, as well as a place to pursue a passion for teaching.

With FSSA, their goal is to offer the best-in-class international education to the families in San Antonio and build the foundation for students to become lifelong learners and responsible global citizens.

Partners and accreditations

The Alliance Française de San Antonio is a local chapter of the Alliance Française, an international organization, founded in 1883, whose goal is to promote French language and culture around the world.

The French School of San Antonio intends to partner with Mission Laïque Française (MLF), an international organization  that works to spread the French language and culture by creating and running schools outside France.

We are aiming to become accredited by AEFE (The Agency for French Education Abroad), a national public agency under the administration of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France, and ISAS (Independent Schools Association of the Southwest) by the year of 2020.
